RevPlate ("RevPlate," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or purchase from revplate.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact details — your name and email address
- Order information — the products you purchase, order numbers, and purchase history
- Billing details — your billing address and the country and postcode associated with your payment method
- Communications — the content of any email or message you send us, including support enquiries and cancellation requests
- Marketing preferences — whether you have subscribed to our email list
1.2 Payment information
When you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers. RevPlate does not receive, see, or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code. We receive only a transaction result, the last four digits of the card, and the card type, which we use to identify your order and process refunds.
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and language settings
- Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the site or advertisement that referred you
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Deliver the products you have purchased and send your download links
- Process payments, manage recurring billing, and issue refunds
- Provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
- Send you transactional messages such as order confirmations, delivery emails, renewal notices, and cancellation confirmations
- Send marketing emails, where you have subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email
- Deliver ongoing membership content to active members
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, chargeback abuse, and misuse of the Site
- Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it
- Comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering your order and managing your membership | Performance of a contract |
| Processing payments and preventing fraud | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Marketing emails | Your consent |
| Improving the Site and analytics | Legitimate interests |
| Keeping tax and transaction records | Legal obligation |
4. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent they need it:
- E-commerce platform — our store is hosted on Shopify, which processes order and customer data on our behalf
- Payment processors — to take payment, manage recurring billing, and issue refunds
- Email and delivery providers — to send your files, transactional emails, and any marketing you have opted into
- Analytics and advertising providers — to measure Site performance and advertising effectiveness
- Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers where reasonably required
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others
If our business is sold or merged, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if this materially affects how your information is handled.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your cart and preferences, and measure traffic and advertising performance.
- Essential cookies are required for the Site and checkout to function and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and are used to understand Site usage and measure campaigns.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working correctly.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Order and transaction records — retained for at least seven (7) years to meet tax, accounting, and chargeback-dispute obligations
- Marketing contacts — retained until you unsubscribe, and removed from active lists promptly thereafter
- Support correspondence — retained for up to three (3) years
- Analytics data — retained in aggregated or de-identified form

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from marketing
- Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Residents of the UK, EU, and EEA have these rights under the UK and EU GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email revplate@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally within thirty (30) days — and we may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site and checkout, and restricted access to customer data.
No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.
9. International Transfers
We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of the UK, EU, or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent approved mechanisms.
10. Children
The Site and our products are intended for business use by adults. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site and our products may link to third-party websites, including supplier websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to you by email or by a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
